Main suspect arrested in Kaduwela Court shooting edit post

The main suspect in the recent shooting incident at the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court premises has been arrested in the Dompe police area.

A person was wounded and hospitalised following the incident on Wednesday (23) morning.

Police said that a suspect who was brought to court to be produced before the magistrate was injured when the gunman opened fire at him at the steps leading to the court.

The target of the shooting, said to be an underworld figure known as Samayan, is still receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
