Cannot be satisfied with a domestic investigation: International inquiry a must: says TNA edit post

TNA Northern Provincial Councillor M. K. Shivajilingam stated that they cannot be satisfied with a domestic inquiry in to the alleged war crimes.

He expressed these views addressing a media briefing held in Jaffna day before yesterday.

However, Former Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe who led the Sri Lankan delegation at the previous Geneva Human Rights Commission explained the importance of a domestic investigation at a media briefing held recently.

Meanwhile, the Army stated that they would continue investigations in to the videos released by the Channel 4 levelling allegations at the Army, to determine their authenticity.
