The 10-year old boy was hacked to death at Kapurugoda Panagoda in Athurugiriya yesterday.

The Police Media Spokesman’s office stated that a 10-year old body was hacked to death with a sharp object at Kapurugoda Panagoda in Athurugiriya.

However it is revealed the victim had not attended school this morning.
The father and the son stayed at home this morning while the mother had visited a doctor.
As the boy was not to be seen in the house, the father has sought the assistance of the neighbors to search for the boy.
