Yala National park closed for a moth from today

The Department of Wildlife Conservation has decided to close down Yala National Park for tourists from today to October 7th.
The decision has been taken primarily to let animals to roam freely without intrusion of sightseers.

As such, various roads and bungalows in the Park reserved for tourists will be renovated within this period.

Director General of the wild life department H D Rathnayaka stated that the decision was taken considering the dry weather condition.
