Signs of Former President not discussing about the budget in Parliament edit post

Political sources state that Former President Mahinda Rajapakse may not express his views during the budget debate in Parliament.

Meanwhile, Former President expressed his views regarding the budget during a meeting held at the Narahenpita Abayarama temple.

He stated that there is an attempt to privatise certain government institutions through the budget.

However former President Mahinda Rajapakse stated that he is not involved in politics these days.

He made this comment during a ceremony held at a temple in Ambalangoda.
