Avant gaurd refutes the report about the floating armoury submitted to the Attorney General

The Avant Garde Company says that it refutes the report that Additional Solicitor General Wasantha Navaratne Bandara submitted to the Attorney General.

Former senior merchant vessel manager retired Lieutenant Colonel Nilantha Jayaweera said so while participating at the media briefing held in Colombo yesterday.

Additional Solicitor General Wasantha Navaratne Bandara submitted a report to the Attorney General with regard to the vessel containing a floating armoury called ‘Mahanuwara’ that Avant Garde had rented out.

That was on the basis of an investigation the CID had carried out.
