Pound of Bread up by one Rupee edit post

The all island bakery owners association states that the price of a loaf of bread will be increased by one rupee with effective from midnight.

Chairman of the association N.K Jayawardena noted that the decision was taken following a discussion held yesterday.

This year the NBT was increased from 2% to 4% subsequently, thus contributing towards increasing the price of bread.
