Ex-president and PM meets at Gangaramaya edit post

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and former president Mahinda Rajapaksa met in Gangaramaya yesterday evening.

They were seen engaged in religious observances, and placing the Karaduwa together, during the conclusion of Gangaramaya Navam Maha Perahera.

Speaking at the event the Chief Incumbent of Hunupitiya Gangarama Temple Venerable Galaboda Gnanissara asked the former president not to fend off PM Wickremesinghe’s work, as his agenda is clear.

He also asked to donate tamed elephants if there is no place to shelter them.
