Rajitha taken to Singapore edit post

Minister Rajitha Senaratne was taken to Singapore for further treatment after he suffered a heart ailment, said his media secretary Nipun Ekanayake.

He had been admitted to a private hospital in Colombo last night (19), and only his family members were allowed to see him.

Ekanayake refuted rumours that the minister was in serious condition.

After getting to know about Senaratne’s illness, president Maithriapal Sirisena, who is touring Europe, has given instructions for necessary treatment for him.
