MR headed special SLFP meeting in Battaramulla edit post

A SLFP meeting was held yesterday under the leadership of ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa last night.

Former representatives of the local government took part in the event that was held at his Coordinating Secretariat in Nelum Mawatha, Battaramulla, where they discussed in detail if to form a new party or an alliance.

Former Min. Basil Rajapaksa and parliamentarians representing the Joint Opposition also gathered there.
