Power failure halts trading at CSE edit post

Trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) temporarily halted due to a sudden power failure at the World Trade Center and recommenced a few minutes ago.

It was reported that trading had been halted for nearly 20 minutes before resuming again.

In the wake of a nationwide blackout on Sunday (13), the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) announced scheduled power cuts for today and tomorrow (17).
