
The PM will pay the official visit to China from April 6 to 9 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
Chinese leaders will meet and hold talks with Wickremasinghe and exchange opinions on bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
The Sri Lankan Cabinet had formally cleared the project last month, paving the way for visit of the PM. The decks were cleared after International Trade and Strategic Development Minister Malik Samarawickrama visited China and held talks with the Chinese authorities on a cluster of issues, including the Port City Project.
