Views were expressed at several meetings held yesterday with regard to the SLFP and the UPFA.
Former Minister Bandula Gunawardhana said at a meeting held in Homagama that that the UPFA members including SLFP-ers had become helpless.
The former Minister said further that the current Government was taking revenge from opposition MPs without giving due regard for parliament.
Meanwhile Opposition Leader Nimal Siripala de Silva says that currently he is facing numerous difficulties.
Participating at a UPFA regional committee meeting at Viyaluva yesterday the Opposition Leader said that all had got together and made him a laughing stock.
Rural Economic Affairs Minister S. B. Dissanayake too participated in the occasion.
On this occasion the Minister said that a group including Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila were trying to divide the SLFP.
