TNL ousts Madu Madhava edit post

Artiste Madu Madhava Aravinda, who was the programme host of 'Dialog Ridma Rathriya' on TNL TV, has been ousted from the television channel.

The programme has been broadcast every Saturday at 9.35 pm.

He is removed under charges of engaging in politics through the programme, reports say.

Madu Madhava said that he was removed as he was engaged in politics with former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Noting that he never mixed art with politics, Madu Madhava said the only times he had gone beyond the subject of arts during the programme was to assist singer Namal Udugama's sickness and to help provide water to the Rathupaswala residents.
