Colombo Additional Magistrate Nishaantha Peiris gave permission to CID recently to exhume the body.
While the CID and the Attorney General’s Department requested Court that the body be exhumed, the Additional Magistrate had said that he would give his verdict with regard to the request.
Accordingly giving his verdict Additional Magistrate Nishaantha Peiris informed that the body be exhumed.
The Additional Magistrate ordered Cemetery Curator, relevant Grama Niladhari and Colombo Chief Judicial Medical Officer Ajith Tennakoon to assist the exhumation.
