Cabinet to be sworn in on Sep. 02 - Malik edit post

UNP Chairman Malik Samarawickrama has said that the Cabinet of the National Government will be sworn-in on Sep. 02.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and three Cabinet Ministers, namely Foreign Affairs Minister Mangala Samaraweera, Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa and Resettlement Minister D. M. Swaminathan have been sworn in so far.

Meanwhile, in a special statement issued yesterday (26), Mr. Samarawickrama said that the UNP has held deep and cordial discussions with the SLFP to set up a national government and they have now reached a consensus.
