dentification Parade of Hirunika’s supporters who abducted and assaulted an Individual, to be held today

Eight supporters of Hirunika Premachandra who were charged with the abduction and assault of an individual in Dematagoda, will be produced before the Hulfsdorf Courts again today.

Court had ordered them to be produced today for an identification parade.

Presenting a report on last 4th, the Colombo Crimes Division said that the Defender bearing the number plate 62 - 1 8 5 9, is registered to Hirunika Premachandra.

Courts were also informed that advice of the Attorney General was also sought with regard to the matter.

Several political parties and civil organizations have protested against the fact that Hirunika Premachandra, who has direct involvement in the recent abduction and assaulting of a Dematagoda resident has not been arrested.
