A woman stabbed to death in Matara- Morawaka

A 56 year old woman has been murdered inside a house yesterday evening in Matara –Morawaka-Pelawatte- Morupitiya area reports the police.

The husband of the deceased runs a school transport service. The woman had gone with the husband in the school transport service in the morning and her husband has dropped her back at home while on his way to drop the school students to their respective houses.

The husband has informed the Morawaka police of this incident when he returned home and found his wife stabbed to death.
