‘Conspiracy to cause rift between president, PM’

There is a conspiracy within the government to cause a rift between the president and the prime minister, alleges minister Rajitha Senaratne.

Certain persons in the government are plotting with its enemies against the good governance regime, he says.

Among them are the persons who lost their positions over the Avant Garde incident, said Senaratne, adding that many ministers would lose their positions soon.

He was speaking at a function in Matugama.
