Probe into Gnanasara Thera’s assets!

Police are to investigate how funds are received by Bodu Bala Sena general secretary Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera, who is facing a contempt of court charge and warded at prison hospital.

His vehicles will also be investigated, said police headquarters sources.

There is information the Thera has received funds from various NGOs.

The investigation will determine the amount and the legality of these funds.
