Take revenge from me but do not loose what was won for the country; says Former President

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that because of hatred towards him, the country should not be deprived of the benefits won.

Participating at the function called Motherland’s Victory Commemoration ‘Nidahase Pahanwaeta’ last afternoon, the former President said that thousands of war heroes sacrificed their lives not to re-create a separatism in this country.

On this occasion the former President said further that it had been possible to take the country to development because the ending of war.
